About this project

A single repeating bay establishes rhythm across the whole resort, giving every suite the same relationship to the water.

Amanmara Coastal Resort is a hospitality work in Phuket, Thailand. A resort colonnade in pale stone, holding a long shaded promenade between the rooms and the sea. Dezignow was engaged for architecture, interior design, construction, carrying the work from first concept through to delivery on site.

Architecture

Deep stone piers and a low roof plane shade the promenade and reduce cooling loads.

Interior

Suites are finished in lime plaster, teak and linen, calibrated for a salt-air environment.

Construction

Marine-grade specification and phased handover shape the construction programme.

Project record

A full project record — client, programme and completion details — is released on request. The summary here describes the scope, character and intent of the work.
